The next obvious thing would be any buff that increases your raw damage, like Marauder's Rage, Berserker Rage, Weapon Master + Sword/Dagger, Insanity, Punish, and Maniac. Running around super fast and smashing demons in the face with powerful and fast attacks. For items there are only really 2 things that are mandatory: Depth Diggers for up to double damage on our main attack, and Stalgard's Decimator, which is the main item this I'm happy that this seems to be a viable endgame build even with no LoH. EDIT: Okay maybe dropping that defensive passive wasn't such a good idea, heh. Ravage(17 yards range) is the way to go... If someone is multiboxing 4 barbarians, you get 4x rend stacks... I also prefer 2h builds and really want to do one. http://us.battle.net/forums/en/d3/topic/6413132301
Lasts 120 seconds. It is a continuous heal, not a heal every second.Rend does not stack, so it is worth casting if you are near enemies that currently do not have the Rend effect It was a bit harder after that and I began to die after every 2 elite packs (on average). Applying Rend multiple times to a single monster will only stack if these Rends have different runes, or come from different Barbarians, so spamming Rend quickly will not yield any damage
Rend is cool. I've looked on the forums and haven't found a definitive answer, alot of people saying they stack it. Blood Bath isn't as interesting, doesn't work as nicely as the Exploding Palm + Burning Essence from the Monk repertory. http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/4211044656 Also this could potentially play nice with a high fury generating Weapon Throw build...
you do 100 damage, you get 9 health in return. Whirlwind Barbarian Currently with Battle Rage and Warcry up I have about 69k DPS, 600ish resist all and 9k armor. Thanks ! ! ! ! ! Also if I replaced Weapon Master with Berserker Rage I could get more damage...
I've taken your build for a spin, but I've made some adjustments to it. look at this site DarlosND, Aug 24, 2012 #10 Insicor IncGamers Member Joined: Jul 20, 2004 Messages: 55 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 DarlosND said: ↑ Okay, so I managed to bag a really Diablo 3 Rend Build Please educate me on this and tips would be great! Whirlwind Diablo 3 It's fantastic against elites that run away, having it tick even if you are not close.
I still use rend as I have 320k DPS self buffed. http://sevevb.com/diablo-3/diablo-3-authentication-key-not-working.html Or it will cancel each other out? Loving the build though and will probably take a stab at using Furious Charge instead of Ignore Pain. So yeah. Diablo 3 Lamentation
And maybe Rupture on Cleave, but that only works when something actually dies, which doesn't really help against elites. I am leveling up another barb which uses Rend and ultimately a Skorn. Diablo 3 Wrath Of The Wastes Instead, you generate 2 Fury every 1 second. I've been using it with the Blood Lust rune.

Lamentation Legendary Mighty Belt Primary Stats +220–349 Strength +4 Random Magic Properties Secondary Stats Rend can now stack up to 2 times on an enemy. Rend Damage Kalista Hope my questions make sense, thanks in advance for any help.
I have negligible life on hit (~300), 2.7% life leech from my belt, but maintain my 75k dps with Battle Rage up. Just thought i would chime in here as i've also played around with similar builds and i can say that Rend is fabulous...even as a dual wield barb. permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]yhzhcondor#1651 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago(3 children)Multiple rends stack from different barbarians. Check This Out i switched rend to be the 17 yard range version and found that this works perfectly for giving me the heals I need.
I'm gonna try to incorporate it in my Smash build, for a good comboof Life/hit and Rend heals. A link to my seasonal barb: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/LiquidGold-1720/hero/57633201 No Elemental % yet. Beyond that though... I have little trouble with the white mobs unless they completely corner me and I have Leap on cooldown, but the boss packs always result in a couple of deaths, 1
It was always what I envisioned a barbarian to be. EDIT: Okay maybe dropping that defensive passive wasn't such a good idea, heh. Then that drawback and the short range -outside the first rune, Ravage- makes compromises the skill usefulness. Because of that, this build focuses mainly on Frenzy as a source of damage with other skills as support.
Its way below the other secondary attack skills , in term of damage out put. With Charge and Leap, neither is an issue if I manage my CDs correctly. Battle Rage is used to get some extra damage. My stats: http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/3964/screenshot000he.jpg Hammer (and the rest of my current equipment): http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Darlos9D-1369/hero/12590173 It's pretty fantastic to leap into the middle of a bunch of of enemies, throw down Rend, and then
I replaced Tough as Nails with Berserker Rage, since apparently if you have max fury and use a fury spender (like Rend) you actually get the benefit of it. Oh also: if you use Rend, and then increase your damage before the bleed runs out, does the rest of that bleed effect do more damage?
