After turning the switch on and off several times they would come on. Then there's that pesky wiring. The problem only occures when the fuel level falls between apx 3/4 and 1/2 full; then the low fuel warning light and chime come on & the fuel gauge drops suddenly I drove it to dodge dealer but on the way the van returned back to normal. I would cut it off and put two diffrent terminal ring ends on it and reclamp it to the battery terminal.

Put a longer bolt in the terminal you have now and that will work. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but offered no assistance. It would not shift at all. My check engine light is STILL on. It has been going on for a year and a half. Our 1st was a 2001, and ironically enough, we ended up getting rid of due to electrical issues!
No warning they just quit. The dealer was not notified of this failure, but the manufacturer was not. I find myself not going places because Im afraid the vehicle will not start when I get back in it. Then on the drive home, the dash lights were flickering.
Now they will NEVER get my business because I feel they tried to get the $ from me w/o the option.
