Drupal 7 Wysiwyg Tinymce Not Working

If IMCE Wysiwyg bridge is updated to use the new wysiwyg_wrap_js_callback() function for passing JS Function references in the JSON settings structure this will still work, but they would break backwards I have tried any possible solution in this thread (and others) with no result. More can always be added later. On the other hand thanks Irene for the link to your videos! check over here

I've rerolled the patch, based on the upcoming -dev snapshot, so it now converts the callback name from a string to a Function reference for TinyMCE 4, which will maintain backwards Click "Download" next to the top entry in the "Main packages" area. The CKEditor toolbar was probably buggy due to button sorting being missing, see #829266: Fixing toolbar for the CKeditor / Using the settings hook for a workaround that won't require hacks Log in or register to post comments Comment #37 baskin CreditAttribution: baskin commented July 28, 2011 at 8:16am Status: Closed (fixed) » Active I have also tried with different editors, without original site

Wysiwyg has no version 7.7 and I have no idea what book you're talking about. Dumb question probably, do I download the regular package or the JQuery package? Make sure everyone has read access (NOT write access) to the TinyMCE files. The Version Of Ckeditor Could Not Be Detected. Selecting French and not having installed translation files for the editor and all its native plugins will make it crash. @Johan D.

You may also see problems similar to those encountered with CKEditor 4, as in the Media module inserting false instead of its normal media tags.

A quick and dirt workaround in the html.tpl.php: /", "", $scripts);?> Log in or register to post comments Comment #44 TwoD CreditAttribution: TwoD commented I just think it is important that one of the more popular non-core features be informative! http://sevevb.com/drupal-7/drupal-imce-wysiwyg-not-working.html I extracted the entire archive to that specific folder so that the main script ends up at sites/all/libraries/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js.

The next patch looks like a unified diff to me... When I choose TinyMCE for the Plain Text mode, and I create a new content, I don't see anything about TinyMCE... I guessed I assumed that a default set would be included, but apparently all buttons are turned off by default. I'm not sure if every editors' site provides statistics on active usage, but that could be one deciding factor (where present) on when to cut support.
