Build me a brick wall! I have a .install file implementing hook_install() hook_uninstall() and hook_schema() None of the functions in the install file appear to run. Subscribed! Its a drupal 7. check over here

I recommend the Devel module to do this as it provides a page (devel/reinstall) where you can easily force a reinstall of a module. It turns out that there were two versions of my module in Drupal.
