This means, according to the manual, they're not running paired (i.e. Faulty PSU and possibly DIMM slots/memory controller? I certainly hope it's intended. What RAM do you have and what RAM did you use to upgrade? solved Motherboard Ram/Dimm slot not working?!? I put the memory back into Dimm 2, updated the bios and tried both sticks but still same issue. I try the other modules individually in slot A1 to check they're all working, and sure enough, bam, they're all fine. With different sticks, like that 8GB and 4GB you've tried, dual-channel won't work.
